PC Technical Services

Horticulture Team

Lead Horticulturist: direct the horticultural maintenance of Epic’s new campus. Design and plant new and existing seasonal, perennial and woody garden beds. Assist with campus long-range and master planning as needed. Technical expertise in ornamental horticulture, turf management, landscape design, interior plant maintenance and arboriculture required. Degree in horticulture, botany, biology or related field, plus five years of practical experience working in the field of horticulture preferred.

Horticulturist: responsible for planting and maintaining assigned garden areas, as well as rototilling, raking, planting, weeding and mulching planting beds and fertilizing, watering, deadheading and pruning annuals, perennials and woody plantings. Degree in horticulture, botany, biology or related field, plus two years of practical experience working in the field of horticulture preferred.

Landscape Grounds Specialist: maintain the diverse groundcover plantings of Epic’s campus. You’ll plant and maintain all groundcover areas, prepare soil for sowing seed and laying sod, rake, aerate, weed, fertilize and water. Knowledge of Kentucky bluegrass turf, fescue meadows, short and tall-grass prairies and ornamental groundcovers required. Associates Degree in horticulture, grounds maintenance, turf grass management or related degree, plus two years practical experience working in the field of horticulture preferred.
